Gordon Ramsay Has Chosen Not to Give His Children a Large Inheritance

Gordon Ramsay Has Chosen Not to Give His Children a Large Inheritance. He also Does Not Take Them to Expensive Restaurants and Allow Them to Sit in First Class on Planes.

Over the past few years, Gordon Ramsay has gained notoriety for his raging temper and no-nonsense approach in the kitchen. These qualities have been highlighted in programs like Hell’s Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares. Despite his reputation for getting agitated in the kitchen, Chef Ramsay has previously stated his pride in raising his children with discipline. He’s such an amazing dad that even with all the luxuries in life, his children are not spoiled.

To prevent his children from becoming spoiled, Gordon Ramsay has decided not to leave them a sizable inheritance, does not take them to upscale restaurants, and does not let them fly first class.

Gordon Ramsay’s Kids are Not Spoiled

The TV chef is adamant about not raising his kids to be spoiled. In the past, Gordon has acknowledged that despite his celebrity position, his children would not receive free handouts. He has even said that he would prefer it if his kids worked for another chef instead of him.

I’m firm, I’m fair, and I will give you everything I’ve got to get you to the very top. And that’s it, no bulls**t. “I take a lot of flak for being straight and honest, but I’m not worried about that f***ing snowflake generation. It’s like not employing the kids.  I don’t want the staff thinking, ‘F**k it’s Ramsay’s kid, we can’t tell them off’. You want to work in this business? You f**k off to another chef, learn something different and come back with something new to improve the business.

Do the Ramsay Kids Really Fly Economy?

In 2017, the TV chef claimed that when his family travels on vacation, he puts his kids in economy while he and Tana experience the comfort of first class.

I turn left with Tana and they turn right and I say to the chief stewardess: ‘Make sure those little f***ers don’t come anywhere near us, I want to sleep on this plane, I worked my f***ing arse off to sit that close to the pilot and you appreciate it more when you’ve grafted for it.

He then justified his decision to deny his children a first-class seat.

I have got to keep it real with the kids. And also I think just getting kids at the age of five, six and seven, used to first class and those big seats, they do not need the space. They get entertainment on their iPads.

Don’t Stay Away from Meat

The father of five also forbids vegetarianism among his children, which is another strict parenting rule. The chef has previously expressed his distaste for vegetarians, saying that he would electrocute his children if they adopted a vegetarian diet.

My biggest nightmare would be if the kids ever came up to me and said, ‘Dad, I’m a vegetarian.’ Then I would sit them on the fence and electrocute them.

Gordon earned news in 2005 for his parenting abilities after forcing his daughter Tilly to say goodbye to their pet turkey. The chef said, Bye bye turkeys, and I’ll see you in the oven! (Source: Cornwall Live
