Kylie Minogue won the trademark lawsuit against Kylie Jenner over the rights of the name “Kylie.” The US Patent and Trademark Office rejected Jenner’s application. Minogue’s lawyer went on to call Jenner a “secondary reality television personality.”

There can only be one Kylie, and apparently, it’s Kylie Minogue. The Australian pop singer won the legal battle against Kylie Jenner, who tried to apply a trademark for the name Kylie in the United States.
Jenner wanted to register her first name Kylie for advertising and endorsement services with the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) in April 2015. Minogue, who is mononymously known as Kylie worldwide, owns the website www.kylie.com and has been using the Kylie name way before Jenner’s parents were even dating, filed a notice of opposition, citing the possible confusion and probably damage to her brand.
