Jason Jordan Segel is an actor, comedian, screenwriter, singer-songwriter, author, and producer from the United States. He is best known for his role as Marshall Eriksen in the CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother and his collaborations with director and producer Judd Apatow on the television series Freaks and Geeks and Undeclared. But did you know that a man from Toronto ate pictures of the actor?
Noah Maloney, from Toronto, pledged in 2017 to eat a photo of Jason Segel every day until Jason Segel ate a photo of him. During one attempt, he choked on a photograph and almost died.
Noah Maloney’s Peculiar Challenge
Noah Maloney, the Toronto man whose intestines are now riddled with paper cuts, will continue to eat a photo of Jason Segel every day until Jason Segel eats a photo of him. He’s been at it for more than 50 days, and his variations on the theme have grown increasingly inventive. He’s eaten the photo in front of a wall of dildos, blended it into a smoothie, and even gathered a choir of Segel’s. The actor did not respond.
To demonstrate his commitment, he has pledged to film himself eating a photo of Segel every day until the actor responds by eating a photo of him.
There is a man on youtube whose brand is eating photos of my brother on video and my first reaction was: how do I get someone to eat pictures of me
Ali Segel, Jason Segel’s Sister
Maloney has devoured several images of Jason Segel. He’s eaten pictures of Segel both in private and in public. The first video he made has received over 500,000 views on YouTube and the attention of numerous media outlets, but there has been no response from the man whose attention he craves. He’s created a hashtag and everything, #EatMyFaceSegel, to be exact, but Segel hasn’t used his Twitter in a long time.
It’s reassuring to know that, even in the midst of 2017, someone is simply sticking to the plan and following protocol in the confident knowledge that it will help them achieve their goals. (Source: AV Club)
How Did Noah Maloney Almost Die Eating Jason Segel’s Photos?
You’d think a near-death experience would deter him from continuing his journey. He even appears to be tired.
I dunked a whole photo into a beer and tried to do it in one big ball/swallow and it lodged in my throat, I tried to get it down with more beer but it was stuck and there was 15 seconds where I came to terms with the fact that that was how I would go… Jason Segel would have killed me. But then I threw up the ball of paper and beer onto my friend and ate it after so it’s all good.

You’d think this near-death experience would stop him from continuing on his nonesense. He even appears to be tired.
It takes up a lot of our lives now, even though it’s such a simple task, it seems like such a drag and big deal out of my day every day. It’s not hard to keep going, it’s just boring.
