On March 14, 1951, Albert Einstein turned 72 years old. The well-known physicist, born in Ulm, Germany, had already been residing in America for a considerable time. At the time, he was employed at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, New Jersey. He was given a birthday party at the research facility.
When he left, the photographers were waiting outside the venue, hoping to catch one of the well-known professor’s clever remarks about the state of world politics and get the perfect birthday picture.
Einstein found their presence annoying since he disliked media hype and was tired of serving as a spokesperson. Yet there he was, unable to escape the flashing lights, wedged between the previous director of the institute, Frank Aydelotte, and his wife, Marie, in the back seat of a limousine.
He is alleged to have yelled Enough is enough several times at the persistent reporters. One yelled back; Hey Professor, grin for a birthday picture, please!

Albert Einstein’s Death
At the University Medical Center in Princeton, Albert Einstein passed away on April 18, 1955, at the age of 76. Einstein experienced an abdominal aortic aneurysm the day before while preparing a speech to celebrate Israel’s seventh anniversary.
He was brought to the hospital for care, but he declined surgery because he felt he had lived his life to the fullest and was happy to accept his fate.
